
Women’s Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision With No. 7 Duke

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer (4-2-1) dropped a 1-0 decision with seventh-ranked Duke (10-5-2) on Friday evening in its final home match of the 2021 season at Dail Soccer Stadium.
Blue Devil Mia Gyau's first goal of the season from close range in the 61st minute was the difference.
The Wolfpack's two shots of the night came in the first half, while the Blue Devils tallied 15 (four on goal) and won three corners on the night.
Both of NC State's losses this year have been to ACC opponents in nonconference matchups, and both have been by the difference of one goal
NC State will return to action April 11 when it travels to Pineville, N.C. for a 2 p.m. neutral site contest with Georgia.
