PINEVILLE, N.C. - NC State women's soccer (4-3-1) dropped a tightly contested match with Georgia (5-7-3) on Sunday afternoon at the CSA OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville, N.C.
Bulldog Daniella Murguia's goal in the 53rd minute, her first of the season, was the difference in the matchup.
The Wolfpack tallied 10 shots (four on target), while Georgia had seven shots (four on target).
This is NC State's third loss of the season, and all three have been by a one-goal margin.
NC State will wrap up its season April 17 when it faces Boston College at 1 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
