
Women’s Soccer Wraps Up Spring Slate Saturday Against Boston College

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer (4-3-1) will conclude its 2021 spring slate Saturday when it hosts Boston College (3-9-1) at Dail Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, attendance at NC State women's soccer home competitions is limited to a pass list of player and coach guests only. No tickets are available to the general public. Please continue to visit GoPack.com for the latest updates.
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will be the 18th time the Wolfpack and Eagles have met, as Boston College owns a 13-4 advantage in the all-time series.
The teams last met on Oct. 5, 2019 in Raleigh, and the Pack earned a 2-0 win. NC State has won three of the last four meetings dating back to 2016.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State matched up with Georgia on April 11 at the CSA OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville, N.C., and fell, 1-0.
All three of its losses this season have been by a one-goal margin.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
In the fall portion of the season, BC went 1-7 in its ACC-only slate and is 2-2-1 overall this spring.
The Eagles are undefeated in its last three outings, as it defeated Albany (3-0) and Northeastern (1-0) and battled to a 1-1 draw with Wake Forest. Saturday will also be BC's final contest of the year.
Sam Smith leads the team with five goals scored, while Jenna Bike (3), Laura Gouvin (2) and Emily Knous (2) are also multi-goal scorers. In goal, Allie Augur has played a majority of the minutes with 12 starts and owns a 1.69 goals-against average and a 3-8-1 record.
