Steelman Earns Co-Track Performer of the Week Laurels

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Hannah Steelman has been named ACC Co-Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. She shares the award with Florida State's Maudie Skyring, and the honor marks the second consecutive week that Steelman has earned the laurel.

Steelman posted a school record-breaking performance for the second straight week, clocking a 15:30.87 in the 5000m. Her time was almost 11 seconds faster than the second-place finisher and checked in as the fastest in the nation by almost three seconds and was good to earn her the meet and facility records in the event.

The Wolfpack faces a packed week of competition at the end of April. The team will compete at the North Florida Invite April 28-30, at the West Coast Relays April 29-30, at the UVA Grand Prix May 1 and at Duke Twilight May 3.
