Wolfpack Concludes Competition at Tom Jones Memorial, Virginia Challenge

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field teams wrapped up competition at a pair of meets on Saturday, setting several PRs and top-five program marks.
TOM JONES MEMORIAL
Akira Rhodes continued her impressive season with the third-fastest time in the women's 100m hurdles prelims. She posted a 13.42 that was good to win her heat and earn her a spot in the final.
Rhodes went on to set a personal-best mark in the event final, posting a 13.13 that replaced the fourth-best time in program history that she held and checked in as the 17th-fastest time in the country.
Cameron Murray tabbed a strong performance on the men's side, posting a finals-qualifying 14.08.
In the finals, Murray recorded a 13.72 for a personal best that was good not only for the 13th-best time nationally but for the second-fastest mark in program history.
Caroline Lewis and Imunique Archie both posted PRs at the meet. Lewis' came in the women's 400m with a time of 59.86. Archie set a personal best in the women's 100m with her time of 12.11.
In the men's 100m, Cravont Charleston earned a podium finish as he ran a 10.15 that was good for second place.
VIRGINIA CHALLENGE
Sam Bush competed in the 800m at the Virginia Challenge and posted a personal-best time of 2:09.55.

The Wolfpack travels west to Frisco, Calif., for competition at the West Coast Relays April 29-30.
