@PackWrestle with ACC-Best Six Named to All-ACC Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – An ACC-best six members of the 2021 ACC Championship NC State wrestling team have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team.

Redshirt-seniors Daniel Bullard (Business Administration/Economics) and Hayden Hidlay (Nonprofit Management) were both named for the fourth time in their careers.

Both Bullard and Hidlay already received their undergrad degrees at NC State.

A trio of redshirt-sophomore were also named, all for the second straight season: Jakob Camacho (Business Administration), Trent Hidlay (Business Administration), and Jarrett Trombley (Biological Sciences).

All five were 2021 NCAA Qualifiers.

Fr. Isaac Trumble (Exploratory Studies) was the lone true freshman in the ACC to receive the honor.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
