• Wrestled in the 125 and 133 pound weight classes.
• Closed the season with a 4-2 record (only competed in duals), with two bonus point wins and three ranked wins on the season.
• Named to the 2023-24 ACC Academic Honor Roll for the fifth time.
2022-23
• Wrestled in the Wolfpack's lineup in the 125 pound weight class.
• ACC Champion and NCAA Qualifier
• Claimed a seventh place finish at the U23 U.S. World Team Trials at 57 kg.
• Named a NWCA Scholar Athlete All-American for the second time, part of the All-ACC Academic Team for the third time, and on the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time.
2021-22
• Went 10-3 on the season, 2-1 in duals at 133 pounds.
• Finished second int he Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open and third at The Citadel Open.
• Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21
• NCAA Qualifier for the second straight season at 133 pounds.
• Earned the #12 seed at NCAAs and went 2-2.
• Earned an automatic NCAA bid with a fourth place finish at the ACC Championship. Defeated #28 Heilmann of UNC 3-1 to earn the NCAA bid.
• Went 10-6 overall, 2-2 in duals. All four losses in the regualr season were to top-10 foes.
• Named a 2021 NWCA Scholar All-American and to the 2020-21 All-ACC Academic Team and 2020-21 ACC Academic Honor Roll. Also 2020-21 inducted into NC State’s inaugural Chi Alpha Sigma (National Honor Society) class.
2019-20
• NCAA Qualifier in his first season in the lineup. Was seeded #27 at 133 pounds.
• Went 20-9 overall, 8-4 in duals, and 3-2 in ACC action.
• Picked up four ranked wins, best was 3-2 over #12 Russell of Appalachian State in the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open.
• 12-1 in bonus point matches.
• Scored team points with his fourth place finish at the ACC Championship, including a tech fall and a ranked win.
• In the dual vs. Virginia Tech, scored a first-period pin over #22 Gerardi that won the dual for NC State in the second-to-last bout.
• Named ACC Wrestler of the Week for that win.
• Won the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open going 5-0, and was second at The Battle at The Citadel.
• Named a 2020 NWCA Scholar All-American with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Also named to the 2020 All-ACC Academic Team. Named to the 2019-20 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19
• Redshirted the season.
• Went 20-6 in six open tournaments all at 133 pounds.
• Won both the Hokie Open and Averett University Cougar Open to start his career, going a combined 8-0.
• Placed third at the Junior Freestyle World Team Trails in Reynolds Coliseum. Started with a loss, then reeled off three straight wins for the podium finish.
• Placed sixth at UWW Junior Nationals at 61 kg to qualify for the WTT. Advanced to the semifinals with a pin over #1 ranked Jordan Decatur.
• Named to the 2018-19 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep
• Four-time state champion with a career record of 194-1. His only loss came as a freshman by one point, and he was the 23rd wrestler in Michigan history to win four state titles.
• Went a perfect 59-0 in capturing the Division 3 state title at 130 pounds as a senior. Set a national record for single season takedowns with over 550, averaging over 10 a match.
• Won state titles at 130 pounds as a junior, 119 as a sophomore and 112 as a freshman (at Corunna HS).
• 2015 Grappler Fall Classic Champion.
