Women’s Golf Travels To ACC Championship

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team will make the short trip to Greensboro, N.C., this week for the ACC Championship, which will be held at Sedgefield Country Club Thursday through Sunday.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: Sedgefield Country Club
Par: 72
Yards: 6,089
Format: The first two days will consist of 54 holes of stroke play, and the top four teams from stroke play will advance to match play for the final two days to determine a champion.
Tee Times: The Pack will tee off Thursday between 8 and 8:40 a.m. on hole one with continuous play into round two, and round three Friday will consist of split tee times between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Match play will begin at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Live Scoring: Live scoring can be found at GolfStat.com.
TV Coverage: The match play finals Sunday will be carried live on ACCNX. In addition, a one-hour recap show featuring the best of the ACC Women's Golf Championship will air on ACC Network Monday, April 26 at 8 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack traveled to Charlottesville, Va., on April 6-7 for the Cavalier Match Play event at Birdwood Golf Course. After falling to host Virginia in the quarterfinals of the eight-team tournament on day one, the Wolfpack split day two with a 3-2 loss to North Carolina and a 4-1 victory over Richmond.
NC STATE AT THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP
This will be the 19th year the Wolfpack has participated in the conference championship. In 2019, the squad finished in a two-way tie for ninth place out of 12 teams. The 2020 championship was not played due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Its highest showing to date was a runner-up finish in 2013, and the squad has finished in the top three on four separate occasions.
