SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will be the 37th meeting between the Wolfpack and Blue Devils, as Duke leads the all-time series, 23-10-3.
The teams last met on Sept. 22, 2019 in Durham, N.C., and the squads battled to a 1-1 draw.
The last time the teams played at Dail Soccer Stadium was on Sept. 27, 2018, and the result was a 1-1 draw.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State suffered its first loss of the season on March 20 at home to Wake Forest. It was a 1-0 decision that came down to the final minutes of double overtime, as Wake's Ryanne Brown found the back of the net in the 109th minute with a 25-yard shot off of a Shayla Smart assist.
The result marked the first time since Sept. 5, 2019 that the Pack had suffered a loss at home, and it snapped a 12-game streak of defending its home turf.
The Wolfpack outshot the Demon Deacons, 18-6, and won four corners to its two, but could only put three of its chances on goal.

In the fall portion of its season, the Blue Devils went 7-4-2 in its conference-only slate and reached the semifinals of the ACC Championship. This spring, Duke collected wins over UNCW (3-0) and Coastal Carolina (6-0) before falling to West Virginia (3-2) on the road in its last time out.
Seven players on its team have scored two or more goals through 16 games, as freshman Olivia Migli owns a team-best six. Ruthie Jones has spent a majority of time in goal for Duke, as she has recorded eight shutouts on the year and owns a .90 goals-against average.
