Wolfpack to Host LIU in Final 2021 Home Meet

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team will welcome new East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) opponent LIU to Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum Saturday, Mar. 13 for a 1 p.m. matchup. The competition marks the first time the teams have competed against each other and will serve as NC State's Senior Day.

NC State traveled to Durham, N.H., for a dual meet with New Hampshire. The Wolfpack posted its highest away-meet score of the season with a 195.850. It additionally recorded its best performance of the season on beam with a 49.175.
Sophomore Emily Shepard tied the eighth-best all-around score in program history at the meet with her career-high 39.500. She posted a 9.900 on bars and beam at the meet, tying her career best on bars and setting a new best on beam.
Fellow sophomore Chloe Negrete earned part of a tie for third-place finish on floor at the meet with a 9.850.
SCOUTING THE SHARKS
LIU makes history this season as its gymnastics program makes its debut. The Sharks have earned an NQS of 190.600 and a season-high score 191.925.Â
UP NEXT
NC State begins postseason competition at the EAGL Championship, hosted by Pittsburgh. The Wolfpack will compete at either 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. based on the final EAGL standings of the season.
