• Overall, UNC owns a 28-20 advantage in the series when playing in Chapel Hill. NC State's last road win inside Carmichael Arena was on Feb. 24, 2019, a game that the Pack won by a 74-69 score in the team's second meeting of the 2018-19 regular season.
• The squads last squared off on Jan. 26, 2020 inside Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack came away with the 76-68 victory in what was then its 15th-straight win on its home court.
LAST TIME OUT
• NC State bounced back from its first loss of the season by taking down top-ranked Louisville on the road on Monday. The Pack snapped its six-game losing streak to the Cardinals, picking up its first victory over them since Feb. 2, 2017.
• With the victory, NC State became just the third NCAA Division I women's basketball team in 119 tries in the last 20 seasons to play the AP No. 1 team twice in one year and come away with two wins. Out of those three teams, the Pack is the only to earn both of those top-ranked wins during the regular season and both on the road.

• Jones led the Wolfpack in rebounding for the second game in a row with 13. She also added a team-leading four assists and three steals.
• The Wolfpack did a great job stifling Louisville's transition offense, giving up just seven fast break points on the night. The Cardinals shot a season-low 38.3 percent from the field, and NC State also dominated the paint with a 36-18 advantage in points scored there.
• Louisville senior and reigning ACC Player of the Year Dana Evans tied her career high with 29 points but no other member of the Cardinal squad scored in double figures.
BROWN-TURNER BALLING OUT
Jakia Brown-Turner is the only member of the Wolfpack squad to score in double figures in all 13 games this season, and she is one of just three players in the entire Atlantic Coast Conference to accomplish that feat. She joins seasoned veterans and seniors Aisha Sheppard (Virginia Tech) and Dana Evans (Louisville) on that list.
Brown-Turner averages nearly five points per game more this season than last season (9.4 in 2019-20 to 14.7 in 2020-21). She averaged 10.1 points per game in league action last year and has ramped that number up to a whopping 16.4 points per ACC game this season, which ranks seventh in the league.
