
NC State Baseball Announces 2021 Nonconference Schedule

RALEIGH – No. 11 NC State baseball has released its 13-game nonconference slate for the 2021 season, announced by head coach Elliott Avent on Friday afternoon.
The Wolfpack will open its season Feb. 19-21 when it welcomes VMI to Raleigh for a three-game series. The squad will also host UNCG (Feb. 23), Campbell (March 2), Appalachian State (April 6), North Carolina A&T (April 14), Elon (May 4) and UNCW (May 11) this spring.
NC State will additionally travel to Coastal Carolina (March 16), UNCW (March 23), UNCG (March 30) and Appalachian State (April 27) for midweek contests.
Its conference schedule, which was released last month, features three-game series against 12 league opponents. The Pack is slated to play a total of 49 games this spring.
The ACC Championship is slated to run May 25-30, with the location to be announced at a later date. The NCAA Championship is set to begin with regional play on June 4, and the College World Series is scheduled for June 19-29/30 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb.
TV designations will be announced at a later time, as well as more information on capacity and ticketing.
