Steelman Earns ACC Track Performer of the Week Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Hannah Steelman has been named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Women's Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Steelman posted an impressive outing at the Camel City Invite on Feb. 20, tabbing a second-place finish in the women's elite 3000m. The Orono, Maine, native's time of 9:05.33 was a personal best and checks into the NC State record book as the fourth-fastest time in program history. When converted, her time is a 9:00.70 that is at the top of ACC and seventh in the country.
