Wolfpack and Tar Heels set to tip off at noon on ESPN2

RALEIGH – The fourth-ranked NC State women's basketball team (14-2, 9-2 ACC) will host the North Carolina Tar Heels (11-8, 6-8 ACC) on Sunday afternoon for its 16th Annual Play4Kay game. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, home NC State women's basketball games are closed to the public.

The Play4Kay Game is an annual event at NC State that celebrates the life of legendary head coach Kay Yow and all others who have battled cancer. The donations that are collected surrounding the event will be donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
With the general public unable to attend this year's game, the Wolfpack is hosting a Virtual Sellout via Zoom where those who purchase tickets can "gather" to watch the game together. Tickets for this event can be purchased here.
A WIN ON SUNDAY WOULD...

• Be head coach Wes Moore's 741st career win (740-233)
• Be Moore's 183rd win at NC State (182-64)

NOTING THE WOLFPACK (14-2, 9-2)
• Ranked No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 for the third week in a row and been ranked in the national top five since Dec. 7
• Stands at second in the ACC behind Louisville (20-1, 13-1 ACC)
• No. 2 nationally and first in the conference in defensive rebounds per game (32.2)
• Paces the league in rebound margin (19th nationally, +8.7) and field-goal percentage defense (21st nationally, .355)

• Averaging 39.1 points in the paint and also a threat from distance with an average of 7.3 made three pointers per contest
• Outscored in the paint on just one occasion and beating out its opponents in that category by an average margin of +14.0
• Put together three-point shooting percentages of 40 percent or better in seven outings

• Riding a three-game winning streak coming into Sunday's matchup with the Wolfpack, a streak that started with its Feb. 17 upset over NC State

• NC State won its seventh game in a row over Wake Forest on Thursday night as it picked up a 66-47 road win inside LJVM Coliseum. The win also marked the Pack's fourth straight on the Deacs' home court.
• The Wolfpack clamped down defensively on the Deacs, limiting them to 31 percent from the floor and 23.1 percent from long range. Wake Forest's 47 points tied as the fewest that an ACC opponent has scored against NC State this season.
• NC State turned the ball over just eight times, which was a season low for the squad. In the meantime, the Pack scored 12 fast break points to Wake Forest's one and tallied 13 points off of nine turnovers by the Deacs.
• Offensively, Brown-Turner led NC State with 21 points, just two shy of her career high. Jones posted 16 points in just 15 minutes of action, and Cunane added 15 points and 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the year.
