#12 Rifle Set For Final Tune Up Ahead of NCAA Qualifiers

AKRON – The 12th ranked NC State rifle team wraps up its final dual match of the season, Feb. 13, against #11 Akron. The Wolfpack will have one final chance to boost its NCAA Qualifying score before the NCAA Qualifiers on Feb. 20.
NC State last competed Jan. 30 against Memphis where Travis Stockton posted his fourth-consecutive air rifle performance of 595 or higher. Stockton has been a steady competitor all season for the Wolfpack with numerous top-10 marks in NC State Rifle history.
The Wolfpack have set six of the program's top-10 aggregate marks under the direction of third-year head coach, Emily Holsopple, including four in the 2020-21 season.
Akron competed in a three-team meet earlier this week, facing off against both Air Force and Ohio State. The Zips recorded a season-best 4678 score.
