Rifle Wraps Up Fall Season Against Alaska

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – No. 14 NC State rifle wrapped up its fall schedule on Sunday with a 4734-4675 loss to No. 1 Alaska held at Navy.
The Wolfpack (1-5) finished the fall by setting a season high in smallbore with a total of 2311 while firing a 2364 in air rifle. The Nanooks continued to show their dominance this season as the team posted a 2356 smallbore and a 2378 air rifle score.
A day after recording the fifth-best air rifle score in program history, Addy Burrow bested that mark as she fired a 597 which is her career high and places her tied for the second-highest air rifle score in school history. Burrow's 597 air rifle total was tied for the best air rifle output at the match.
Burrow added a 579 smallbore score to lead the Pack with a season-high 1176 aggregate total. Following behind Burrow was Katie Tedeschi who tallied a 579 smallbore and a 591 air rifle for an 1170 aggregate. Ben Salas remained consistent in smallbore as he fired a 579 as well while Travis Stockton had a smallbore score of 574 to round out the scoring for the Pack.
Stockton tied with Tedeschi in air rifle with a 591 with Salas completing the Wolfpack air rifle total as he fired a 585.
