
#14 Rifle Set For #4 Ole Miss, #15 Memphis

OXFORD, Miss. – No. 14 NC State rifle will face two opponents over the weekend for its first two away matchups in the fall slate.
The Pack will take on #4 Ole Miss on Saturday in Mississippi before battling against #15 Memphis on Sunday. Both matches are set to begin at 8 a.m. CT.
SCOUTING OLE MISS
Ole Miss is currently on a three-match winning streak after dropping its season opener to then-No. 3 West Virginia on Oct. 2 for a 3-1 overall record. In their last outing, the Rebels took down then-No. 7 Navy, 4719-4687 at home on Oct. 17. Lea Horvath finished as the top individual for the third straight match after firing an 1185.
SCOUTING MEMPHIS
Memphis is 0-3 this season, facing only ranked opponents in then-No. 1 West Virginia (Oct. 10), then-No. 7 Navy (Oct. 16) and then-No. 12 Akron (Oct. 17). Against Akron, the Tigers posted their highest aggregate score of the season with a total of 4645. Despite losing, Angeline Henry was the top overall individual, posting an aggregate score of 1171 thanks to totals of 584 smallbore and 587 air rifle.
LAST TIME OUT
Then-No. 11 NC State rifle welcomed No. 2 West Virginia to Reynolds Coliseum on Oct. 17, with the Mountaineers earning the win, 4,730-4,652. The Wolfpack opened the season with a 2,294 in smallbore and a 2,358 in air rifle.
Katie Tedeschi recorded a solid collegiate debut in air rifle as her second and third series were perfect for a 592 score for an aggregate of 1,165. Lauren Crossley recorded career highs in air rifle (586) and aggregate (1,156) while both Tedeschi (ninth) and Addy Burrow (10th) placed in the top-10 individually for air rifle.
