NC State pulled off one of the most dramatic comeback victories in the program's 47-year history by overcoming a 16-point deficit that it faced with 6:15 remaining in the game. The Pack scored 26 of the final 30 points of the outing to defeat Boston College 75-69.
LAST TIME OUT
• NC State continued its unbeaten start to the season with an 84-75 road win at Georgia Tech on Thursday night.
• The Pack was led by a stellar performance from Boyd. After sitting out four games earlier this season due to an injury, she put together her third career double-double to lead NC State in scoring (career-high 26 points, 9-12 shooting) and tie for the team lead in rebounding (10 boards).
• Brown-Turner (19), Jones (14) and Cunane (11) joined her in double figures. Jones added a double-double of her own, her third of the year, with 10 rebounds.

CRUSHING CONFERENCE PLAY

Through four conference contests:
• Three Wolfpack players are putting up scoring averages of more than 15 points - Cunane (17.3), Brown-Turner (16.0) and Jones (15.8). NC State is the only program to have three players with such averages against ACC opponents this season.

• The Pack is outscoring its opponents by an average of 15 points, which ranks second behind Louisville (which has only played one ACC game this season).
TALK ABOUT EFFICIENCY
Boyd earned the starting nod for the first two games of the season before being sidelined for four games with a meniscal injury. The sophomore forward is still extremely productive coming off the bench, as she also was in her rookie season.
YEAR MPG PPG RPG Shooting
2020-21 16.6 12.0 (avg 0.7 ppm) 6.4 22-34 (.647)
2019-20 15.6 7.5 (avg 0.5 ppm) 5.1 95-176 (.540)
In the Pack's New Year's Eve matchup with Georgia Tech, Boyd scored 14 of her 26 points in the first half. She accomplished that in just eight minutes of court time.
She has played 36 games in her young Wolfpack career and has compiled shooting averages of 60 percent or better in 14 of those outings (minimum five attempts). Of her 15 career double-figure scoring games, nine of those have come when Boyd played 20 minutes or less.
