
Pack Falls to Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – Florida State shot 70.7 percent from the field on its way to a 105-73 win over NC State on Wednesday evening inside the Donald L. Tucker Center.
With the win, Florida State improves to 6-2, 2-1 in the ACC while NC State falls to 6-4, 2-3 in the ACC.
The Seminoles shot 71.4 percent in the first half, including 70 percent (7-of-10) from three-point range to take a 57-32 lead into the halftime break. The 25-point deficit was the largest for NC State with Kevin Keatts as head coach.
Florida State did not cool off in the second half, shooting 70 percent from the field and 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from three-point range to prevent any attempt at a Wolfpack comeback.
FSU's shooting percentage of 70.7 is the third-best for an NC State opponent in program history.
Thomas Allen led the Pack with 16 points off-the-bench, shooting 6-of-8 from the field, including 4-of-5 from three-point range. Devon Daniels added 14 points and Jericole Hellems finished with 12.
RayQuan Evans led Florida State with 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting while MJ Walker finished with 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Nathanael Jack came off-the-bench to add 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting.
NC State returns to action Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. inside PNC Arena when it hosts Georgia Tech. The game will be televised in North Carolina by Fox Sports South.
