Women’s Golf Heads To Lady Puerto Rico Classic

RALEIGH – NC State women's golf is back in action Sunday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico. The tournament, hosted by Purdue, runs through Tuesday, and the Pack is one of 15 teams among the field.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: Rio Mar Resort and Country Club (hosted by Purdue)
Par: 72
Yardage: 6,164
Format: 54 holes (18 holes Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)
Tee Times: The first two rounds will be a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start, and the final round will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start

LAST TIME OUT
The Pack opened its spring slate at the UCF Challenge in Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 2-4, and finished 13th out of 16 teams with an 884 (+20). The squad matched its season-low 18-hole score of 291 (+3) in the final round.
Monika Hartl collected the sixth top 20 showing of her career, matching her career-low tournament score of 213 (-3). Additionally, Natalie Armbruester shot the best 54-hole score of her career, a four-over par 220, and Mim Sangkapong fired a career-best 69 (-3) in the final round en route to the best tournament total of her career (216).
ON A ROLL
Dating back to Oct. 27 at the Landfall Tradition, Hartl has turned in four consecutive under par rounds. She has fired a one-under par 71 in every round.
NC STATE AT THE LADY PUERTO RICO CLASSIC
This will mark the 12th time in the last 13 years that the Wolfpack has competed in the prestigious tournament. Its best showing was in 2017 when the squad captured the team title.
