
Women’s Golf Continues Spring Slate At Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate

RALEIGH – NC State women's golf will hit the road for its third consecutive week of competition this spring as it travels to New Orleans, La., for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: English Turn Country Club (hosted by Tulane)
Par: 73
Yards: 6,336
Format: 54 holes (18 holes Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)
Tee Times: Teams will tee off holes one and 10 starting at 10 a.m. ET Sunday and Monday, while Tuesday will be a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack traveled to the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 9-11 in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico. The squad finished ninth out of 15 teams with an 884 (+20), highlighted by matching its season-low 18-hole score of 291 (+3) in the second round.
Monika Hartl captured runner-up honors as an individual for the best showing of her collegiate career. She strung together a bogey-free five-under par 67 en route to a career-low tournament score of 208 (-8). It was her second top 10 showing and sixth top 20 finish of her career.
ON A ROLL
Hartl has had a strong start to the 2020 spring slate. Dating back to Oct. 27, 2019 at the Landfall Tradition, she has turned in six under-par rounds in her last seven outings. Her only round that was not under par was the first round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic when she carded a one-over 73.
In both tournaments this spring she has finished among the top 20 of the player standings.
FRESHMAN IMPACT
The Pack has three freshmen, Natalie Armbruester, Pilar Berchot and Inja Fric, rotating in and out of its lineup this year. Out of the combined 42 rounds they have participated in, 31 of them have counted towards the team's tournament total (74 percent).
NC STATE AT THE ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL INTERCOLLEGIATE
This will be the third-straight year that the Wolfpack has competed at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate. Its best finish at the tournament was in 2018 when it finished fourth out of 17 teams with an 893 (+29).
