RALEIGH – The No. 5 NC State women's tennis team (11-2) continues its February road stint this weekend. The squad is set to face off against Texas Tech and Abilene Christian in a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Lubbock, Texas.

IN THE RANKINGS:
The squad continues to climb the rankings, and it earned its highest ranking in program history this week, checking in at No. 5 in the Oracle/ITA Division I rankings. The squad jumped three spots after an impressive weekend at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, where it defeated then-No. 3 Georgia for its biggest win in program history.
The Pack is also tabbed at No. 5 in the USTA rankings.
LAST TIME OUT:
NC State tabulated a 2-1 record at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, securing top-25 wins over Princeton and Georgia.
SCOUTING TEXAS TECH:
The Red Raiders enter this week with a 2-2 record, including wins over Iowa and Mississippi State. Texas Tech has two doubles tandems featured in the Oracle/ITA Division I rankings: No. 35 Lisa Mays / Nell Miller and No. 52 Olivia Peet / Margarita Skriabina.
The all-time series with Texas Tech is knotted at 1-1, with the Pack taking last year's matchup with a 4-3 win at home. Anna Rogers clinched the win for the team last season.
