Tuohy Named Gatorade XC Runner of the Year, Four #PackXC Signees Honored as State Runners of the Year

RALEIGH - NC State cross country signees Ian Harrison (North Carolina), Alyssa Hendrix (Florida), Marlee Starliper (Pennsylvania) and Katelyn Tuohy (New York) have all been honored as Gatorade State Runners of the Year for their respective home states.
In addition, Tuohy was named the 2019-20 Gatorade National Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year for the third-straight year. The award was the fifth of her high school career as she was also honored as the 2017-18 Gatorade National Track & Field Athlete of the Year and the overall 2018 Gatorade Female Athlete of the Year.
The award, which was established in 1985, recognizes the nation's most outstanding high school student-athletes for athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.

All four distance runners are set to join NC State for the start of the 2020-21 academic and athletic year.
