Women’s Golf Opens Spring Season Sunday At UCF Challenge

RALEIGH – NC State women's golf opens its spring season Sunday at the UCF Challenge in Orlando, Fla. It is the first time the Wolfpack has ever competed in the event, and the field is highlighted by four teams featured in the top 15 of the latest GolfStat rankings.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: Eagle Creek Golf Course (hosted by UCF)
Par: 72
Yardage: 6,349 yards
Format: 54 holes (18 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)
Tee Times: Each day will begin in an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start

FALL RECAP
The Wolfpack played in four tournaments in the fall, highlighted by two top 10 finishes. The squad fired a season-low 291 in the first round of the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 25-27) en route to its best tournament score of 882 (+18) of the semester.
Lea Klimentova captured a top 20 finish at the Landfall Tradition, the second of her career, while the team fired a combined 16 even or under-par individual rounds.
