Sunday's game marks the Pack's final home contest of the calendar year

RALEIGH – The fourth-ranked and unbeaten NC State women's basketball team (7-0, 2-0 ACC) is set to host Miami (4-1, 1-1 ACC) on Sunday afternoon for its last contest before the holiday break and its final home game of the 2020 calendar year. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and the Hurricanes is scheduled for 12 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
The game will be aired live on the ACC Network, and radio broadcasters Patrick Kinas and Ashley Eli will be on the call on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh.
Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, home NC State women's basketball games are closed to the public.

• Kelsey Marshall leads the Canes in scoring with 14.6 points per game (ranks 16th in the ACC), and Destiny Harden also averages double figures with 13.2 points per game
• Coming off of first ACC victory of the year, a 67-63 win it picked up at home against UNC behind 20 points and 12 rebounds from Harden

• Sunday marks the 24th meeting between NC State and Miami. After last season's game, the Wolfpack took the narrow 12-11 edge in the all-time series between the squads.
• NC State has hosted Miami a total of 11 times ahead of Sunday's matchup. The Pack is 8-3 against the Hurricanes when playing in Raleigh, and it won its last home matchup with Miami at the end of the 2018-19 regular season.
• The squads last faced each other on Feb. 20, 2020 in Coral Gables. NC State overcame a fourth-quarter deficit, and then-freshman Brown-Turner hit what was the game-winning shot with two seconds remaining to lead the Pack to the 50-48 victory. It was the Wolfpack's first victory in Coral Gables since 2007.

• After a history of slow starts this season, NC State came out hot in the first quarter against Wake Forest and never looked back on its way to beating the Demon Deacons 79-65 on Thursday night.
• The Pack shot lights out in the first quarter, going 13-of-15 (.867) from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from three-point range. That tied as the Wolfpack's best single-quarter shooting percentage of the still-early 2020-21 campaign.
• NC State hit its first 10 shots of the game, with each starter contributing two buckets to the streak. The Pack also hit eight threes in a row to start the game, and it went on to put together its best three-point shooting percentage (10-of-18, .556) of the season.
• The Wolfpack starters put on a show, combining for 70 of the Pack's 79 points. Brown-Turner led all players on the floor with a career-high 23 points while shooting 4-of-5 from long range and adding four assists.
CLUTCH KJ
The versatility and reliability of Jones continues to shine bright in her senior season. She is currently the only player in the ACC to average at least 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game. After tallying just five points in the Pack's season opener, Jones has scored 12+ in each of the six games since. In that stretch, she is shooting 35-of-62 (.565) for 15.3 points per game, and she has stuffed the stat sheet with four games with 7+ rebounds and five games with 3+ assists.
DISHING IT OUT
Three Wolfpack starters average three or more assists per game this season - Perez (29, 4.1 average), Brown- Turner (26, 3.7 average), and Jones (22, 3.1 average). Those three players also take great care of the ball and all rank in the top five in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio.
Perez is first in the league and sixth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (7.3) with 29 assists and just four turnovers through seven games. She has four games this season with zero turnovers.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE CLUB
Four Wolfpack players have posted double-doubles this season - Cunane (3), Jones (2), Brown-Turner (1) and Jada Boyd (1). That number ranks second in the league behind North Carolina, which has six different players who have posted double-doubles.
Jones came within striking distance of a rare triple-double on Thursday with 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Only one Wolfpack player in the program's history (Tynesha Lewis) has posted a triple-double.
Cunane is currently riding a three-game double-double streak after games against Elon (22 points, 13 rebounds), Boston College (23 points, 15 rebounds) and Wake Forest (17 points, 10 rebounds). It marks the second-longest double-double streak of her career, as she posted four in a row between Nov. 30 (Hawaii) and Dec. 15 (Elon) last season.
