Four from @PackWrestle to Compete at U.S. Senior Nationals

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State Wrestling will be sending four athletes to compete in the U.S. Senior Nationals this weekend at Coralville, Iowa.

Redshirt seniors Hayden Hidlay (74 kg) and Nick Reenan (97 kg) and redshirt sophomores Jakob Camacho (57 kg) and Trent Hidlay (86 kg) will all compete in freestyle.
Â
The competition will be the first tournament for current members of the Wolfpack wrestling team since the Pack won the 2020 ACC Championship back on March 8.
Â
Trent Hidlay is the highest seeded among the Wolfpack wrestlers, as he is third in his weight class. Last summer, Hidlay was a bronze medalist at the Junior World Championships in Estonia.

Hayden Hidlay will be the sixth seed to start. Hidlay competed at the U23 World Championships in Romania back in 2018.

Reenan will be making his return to freestyle for the first time in two years, and is the eighth seed. Reenan last competed in freestyle during the summer of 2018, he took first at the World Team Trials that year and advanced to Final X and wrestled 2018 World Champion David Taylor.

Camacho will be competing in his first freestyle tournament since coming to NC State, and is the 10th seed.
Â
Former Wolfpack four-time NCAA Qualifier Sean Fausz will also be in action, and he is seeded 10th at 65 kg.
