RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team continues its time at home Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. in Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum as East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) competitor North Carolina travels to Raleigh.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack comes off a collection of season-high scores in its meeting with EAGL opponent Towson, recording a team score of 195.650 while the Tigers posted a 193.975. NC State placed the top finisher in every event.
Freshman Chloe Negrete achieved career-highs in all three of her events, and fellow freshman Emily Shepard bested her previous career-high on bars with a 9.825. Shepard took first on vault and tied with senior Drew Grantham on bars for the top finish. Grantham notched first-place finishes on beam, floor and all-around.
Grantham's performance against Towson earned her EAGL Gymnast of the Week honors, as announced by league office on Tuesday.
SCOUTING UNC
The Tar Heels' season-high score of 194.775 came in their season-opening dual meet against William & Mary on Jan. 12. UNC edged the Wolfpack in the teams' last meeting, a quad-meet with Kentucky and Lindewood on Jan. 17, scoring a 194.625 to place second among the four teams.

NC State makes the trip to Pittsburgh, Pa. for a dual meet with the Panthers Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m.
