RALEIGH – The eighth-ranked NC State women's basketball team (18-1, 7-1 ACC) is set to host the second of two regular-season meetings with rival North Carolina (14-5, 5-3 ACC) on Sunday evening inside a sold-out Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. Tip-off from Kay Yow Court is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the game will be televised nationally on the ACC Network.

• The squads faced each other for the first time this season on Jan. 9 in Chapel Hill. UNC halted the Pack's perfect start to the campaign at 14-0 as it took the 69-60 victory inside Carmichael Arena.

• NC State used a dominant third quarter to power past Pitt for its 18th victory of the season on Thursday. The Wolfpack rallied off 22 unanswered points to start the second half on its way to outscoring the Panthers 30-4 in the third quarter and 50-14 in the final 20 minutes. The 44-point win over Pittsburgh was the Pack's largest margin of victory this season.
• The Wolfpack has held five of eight ACC opponents to below 40 percent shooting. Each of the squad's last two opponents - Wake Forest (.254) and Pittsburgh (.295) - shot below 30 percent from the floor.
• Twelve members of the NC State squad saw action against Pittsburgh, with 10 of those players scoring at least five points. The Wolfpack's top scorer in that game (Brown-Turner) posted 13 points to lead the Pack in scoring for the second time in her career and the first time in conference play.
MOVING UP
The Wolfpack earned a season-high national ranking of No. 8 in the Jan. 20 release of the AP Top 25. NC State has now spend the last seven weeks in side the top 10, with Monday's ranking marking the 157th overall week that the program has appeared in the AP Top 10. NC State joins Louisville (No. 5) and Florida State (No. 14) as the three ranked ACC teams.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Since the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum was completed in August 2016, NC State is 58-6 on Kay Yow Court. That record includes 36 consecutive victories over non-conference opponents and 22 out of 28 possible league wins. The Wolfpack is a perfect 11-0 at home midway through the 2019-20 campaign and outscores its opponents by an average of 23.5 points when playing on Kay Yow Court.
THIRD QUARTER STRENGTH
The Pack continues to show its strength in making halftime adjustments. NC State's most productive period is the third quarter, where it holds both its largest overall scoring margin (+138) and its highest scoring average (19.9).

Cunane is the lone player in the conference averaging a double-double on the season with 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. The center ranks 12th nationally in double-doubles (10) and ninth in field-goal percentage (.613), with both of those numbers also standing atop the ACC.
