PACK TRACKS
• Elissa Cunane notched her ninth double-double of the season in NC State's win against Notre Dame on Jan. 12. She scored 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds. The performance gave her sole ownership of the conference lead in double-doubles posted on the season.
• The sophomore center stands among the best in the nation in multiple categories. Cunane ranks eighth nationally in double-doubles (9), seventh in field-goal percentage (.634) and 17th in rebounds per game (10.6). All three of those numbers, as well as her 17.2 points per game, lead the team, and her field-goal percentage paces the conference this season.
• NC State's 51 second-half points against the Fighting Irish were the most scored by the team in a half this season. The Wolfpack dropped 30 points in the third period alone for its highest-scoring quarter of the year.
• In what was a well-balanced scoring attack against Notre Dame, NC State had all 12 of its available players see time on the court. The Pack's bench outscored the Fighting Irish 30-6, led by Jada Boyd's 16 points (7-of-11 shooting).
BOUNCE BACK
After falling for the first time this season to rival North Carolina on Jan. 9, the Wolfpack came out firing in the following game against Notre Dame. NC State defeated the Fighting Irish 90-56 in what was its second-ever victory over the squad and its first win in three tries in South Bend. The 34-point decision was the largest margin of defeat for Notre Dame in conference play since it joined the ACC for the 2013-14 campaign. The Pack shot a season-best 56.7 percent (34-of-60), and its final point total was also its highest of the year.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Since the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum was completed in August 2016, NC State is 56-6 on Kay Yow Court. That record includes 36 consecutive victories over non-conference opponents and 20 out of 26 possible league wins. The Wolfpack is a perfect 9-0 at home midway through the 2019-20 campaign and has outscored its opponents by an average of 25.3 points when playing on Kay Yow Court this season.
WHO DO YOU GUARD?
NC State's entire starting lineup is averaging 8.6+ points per game this season, including two players (Cunane and Aislinn Konig) with scoring averages in double figures. Additionally, four of the Pack's starters are shooting 40 percent or higher from the field.
