Wolfpack Claims Doubles Title at Wahoowa Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.— The Wolfpack women's tennis team completed its second day of competition at the Wahoowa Invitational, highlighted by Lexi Keberle and Liz Norman proving undefeated on the weekend in doubles competition (3-0) after an 8-5 victory to claim the invitational's doubles title.
Freshmen Lana Mavor and Marta Gonzalez-Ballbe picked up their first doubles wins in Wolfpack uniform on the second day of competition.
NC State came out firing in the second round of singles matches on Saturday as Keberle took down No. 122 Mia Rabinowitz (Illinois) in straight sets. Her three fellow teammates (Mavor, Norman, Gonzalez-Ballbe) rounded out the sweep for the final set of matches to conclude the second day.
In singles, the Pack got off to a slow start, dropping its first four matches of the day.
