Five from Wolfpack Earn Track and Field All-ACC Academic Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five student-athletes on the NC State track and field team have earned spots on the 2019 All-ACC Academic Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Teams, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday morning.

On the women's side, NC State's representatives on the team are sophomore Michelle Cobb (Nutrition), senior Nell Crosby (Biological Science [BS], Physiology/Poultry Science [MA]), and senior Gabriele Cunningham (Communications/Sport Management). On the men's side, NC State is represented by sophomore Jamar Davis (Exploratory Studies) and senior Shannon Patterson (Business [BA], Liberal Studies [MA]).

In addition to meeting specific academic criteria, each member selected for this year's conference team was an All-American, an All-ACC first or second team performer, a qualifier for the NCAA Championship finals, and/or an ACC Performer of the Week selection during the regular season.
