
No. 13 Baseball Holds Off Notre Dame To Even Series

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – No. 13 NC State baseball held off a two-out rally in the ninth inning by Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon at Frank Eck Stadium in South Bend, Ind., to even the series with a 4-2 win.
The Wolfpack once again faced a deficit in the contest, but a four-run surge in the sixth along with holding off the late rally allowed the squad to earn a come-from-behind win for the 17th time this season.
NC State improves to 33-11 on the year and 14-9 in ACC play, while the Fighting Irish fall to 18-23 overall and 11-12 in conference action.
