Pack Drops Series Finale With Cards

RALEIGH – No. 2 NC State baseball dropped its series finale on Sunday afternoon, 6-3, to No. 12 Louisville at Doak Field at Dail Park.
The Wolfpack suffers its first series sweep since April 27-29, 2018, to UNC-Chapel Hill, and falls to 29-8 (12-6 ACC) while the Cardinals improve to 28-8 (13-5 ACC) on the season.

-After two scoreless innings, the Cards struck in the third on Jake Snider's sac fly to deep right field. Justin Lavey started the inning with a bunt single, and a stolen base and error allowed him to threaten.
-Louisville doubled its lead in the next inning on Henry Davis's RBI groundout to first after a one-out single and double off the left field wall put runners in scoring position.
-Davis drove in his second run of the game in the sixth, as Alex Binelas scored on his single to right field after he hit a two-out double off the left field wall.
