Women’s Golf In Seventh After Two Rounds At Florida Gators Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The NC State women's golf team posted rounds of 285 (+5) and 286 (+6) on Saturday at the Florida Gators Invitational at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla., to sit in a tie for seventh with a combined 571 (+11) out of 13 teams.
No. 25 Miami (557, -3) leads the field while host No. 9 Florida (560, E) and Campbell (562, +2) round out the top three of the team standings.
India Clyburn (T6th) and Laura Kowohl (T24th) are in the top 25 individually with scores of 139 (-1) and 143 (+3), respectively, and Mim Sangkapong is one stroke behind Kowohl in a tie for 33rd.
Monika Hartl shot a combined 145 (+5) and is in a tie for 41st, while Naomi Ko rounded out the Pack's scoring with a total of 151 (+11) to share a tie for 58th out of 75 players.
Saturday's second round marked Ko's 100th career round, as she is the second player this year to reach the milestone behind Clyburn and is the 12th in program history to do so.
NC State will wrap up competition Sunday at the Florida Gators Invitational in a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The team will be paired with East Carolina and Ohio State on holes eight through 10.
