
Clyburn, Hartl Collect Top 20 Finishes At Florida Gators Invitational

GAINESVILLE, FLA. – Senior India Clyburn and sophomore Monika Hartl of the NC State women's golf team collected top 20 individual finishes on Sunday afternoon at the Florida Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
The pair finished in a tie for 14th with a three-over par 213 for the tournament, as Hartl carded a career-best 68 in the final round en route to her third top 20 finish of her career. Clyburn carded a four-over 74 on Sunday to tally her 15th career top 20 showing.
The Wolfpack shot a 16-over par 296 in the final round to finish eighth of 13 teams with a combined 867 (+27) for the weekend. Host No. 8 Florida captured the team title at its home site, the Mark Bostick Golf Course, with a two-under 838 for the tournament. Campbell and No. 24 Miami tied for second with a three-over 843 to round out the top three of the team standings.
Behind Clyburn and Hartl, Laura Kowohl and Naomi Ko each carded a seven-over par 77 in the third round as Kowohl finished in a tie for 44th with a 220 (+10) and Ko finished 62nd out of 75 players with a 228 (+18).
Mim Sangkapong rounded out the team's scores on Sunday with a 10-over par 80 to put her in a tie for 55th with a combined 224 (+14) for the tournament.
NC State returns to action Friday at the Tar Heel Classic in Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic, for its second tournament in a one-week span. The tournament will be a 36-18 format at the Teeth of the Dog Golf Course.
