Wolfpack Travels To Tar Heel Classic This Weekend

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team will compete in its second tournament in a one-week span Friday and Saturday when it participates in the Tar Heel Classic at the Teeth of the Dog Golf Course at the Casa de Campo Village in the Dominican Republic.
This weekend will be a test for the Wolfpack to see how it stacks against conference competition with the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship being just a month away, as it is one of six ACC squads in the 15-team field.
Tournament Information
Course – Teeth of the Dog Golf Course (hosted by UNC-Chapel Hill)
Par – 72
Yards – 6,140
Format – The teams will play 36 holes Friday and the final 18 will be contested Saturday
Tee times – Both Friday and Saturday will be a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start

Last Time Out
NC State traveled to Gainesville, Fla., last weekend for the Florida Gators Invitational, and finished eighth out of 13 teams.
India Clyburn and Monika Hartl finished in a tie for 14th out of 75 players with a three-over par 213. It was Clyburn's 15th career top 20 showing and Hartl's third top 20 finish of her career. Hartl additionally fired a career-low 68 (-2) en route to her strong finish.
