Fortenberry Throws Way to Second Place on First Day at High Point VertKlasse Meeting

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The NC State track and field team kicked off competition at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting on Friday, March 22 at Dick Vert Stadium.
Tyson Fortenberry gave the Pack a successful start, earning a silver-medal finish in men's discus throw. His 170'9" (52.05m) mark is his best of the season.
Teammate William Pruden also recorded a top-four finish with a 155'1" (47.25m) mark in men's discus throw.
In women's javelin throw, Jersey Harris and Hannah Stokes both recorded top-20 finishes representing the Pack.
