RALEIGH, NC – The NC State men's golf team opens its spring competition schedule Monday at the Sea Best Invitational in Ponte Vedra, Fla.
The three-round, par 70 tournament is held at TPC Sawgrass on the Dye's Valley Course. The first two rounds are played on Monday with the opening round starting at 8 am with a shotgun start. The third and final round begins Tuesday morning at 8 am.

Fall Review
In four fall tournaments, NC State won the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in October, took home second at the prestigious Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, with only defending National Champion Oklahoma finishing ahead of the Pack and had a fourth place finish at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in another loaded field.
The Pack was led by senior Stephen Franken and junior Benjamin Shipp in the fall. Both players rank in the top-10 in the ACC in stroke average with Franken at 69.3 and Shipp at 68.8. Franken had two top-five finishes in the fall, while Shipp matched Franken with two top-five finishes, including earning medalist honors at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate.
The Pack finished the fall with a final Golfweek ranking of 22nd.
