The Pack Takes on Ranked Opponents Friday and Sunday
RALEIGH -- The No. 11 NC State women's tennis team hosts a pair of matches this weekend against No. 49 Louisville and No. 44 Notre Dame at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The Pack (10-3, 2-1) will take on the Cardinals Fri., March 1 at 2 p.m. and the Irish Sun., March 3 at 11Â a.m.

The Pack achieved its highest team ranking in program history in the latest edition of the Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings, checking in at No. 11. Â The program's previous high was 14th, achieved in January 2019.

The squad claims four spots in the singles and doubles rankings combined, the most of the 2019 dual season for the team. In singles, the rankings are as follows: No. 25 Anna Rogers, No. 73 Alana Smith, No. 88 Adriana Reami. NC State also features 10th-ranked doubles duo Rogers and Smith.

The Cardinals have collected two wins early in conference play, most recently defeating Clemson, 4-3. Louisville won nine of the final 11 sets to capture the comeback win.
