The Pack Travels to Charlottesville, Va., and Chestnut Hill, Mass.
RALEIGH --Â The 17th-ranked NC State women's tennis team (8-2) opens conference play this weekend with a two-match road stint. The Pack will take on No.14 Virginia Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. and Boston College Feb. 24 at 11 a.m.

Reami on a Roll
Junior Adriana Reami is on a six-match winning streak in singles competition. Two of the six victories have come against ranked opponents (No. 102 Lourdes Carle and No. 87 Katarina Kopcalic).

Pack in the Rankings
The NC State women's tennis team is tabbed at No. 23 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings. The Pack claims four spots in the singles and doubles rankings combined, the most of the 2019 dual season for the team.

Anna Rogers is the highest-ranked singles player for the Pack, checking in at No. 25. Playing on court two, Alana Smith enters back into the rankings at No. 73, while teammate Reami is tabbed at No. 88.
Rogers and Smith are ranked 10th in the doubles rankings.
The Pack also jumped one spot in the Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 Rankings, checking in at No. 16.

Pack in the ACC
NC State combined for a 7-2 record against ACC opponents throughout the fall season. The Pack recorded a 5-1 record in singles and 2-1 record in doubles, including an undefeated fall season by No. 10 Anna Rogers and Alana Smith (2-0).

In 2018, the Pack finished 7-7 in conference competition and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ACC Championships with a 4-2 win over Clemson. Looking to advance  to the semifinals, NC State fell to No. 3 Duke, 5-0.
Pack Against Ranked Opponents
The Pack is 2-1 against ranked opponents with 4-3 victories over No. 11 Florida and No. 20 Texas Tech. Individually, the squad has collected 19 ranked singles wins and six ranked doubles wins this season.

Scouting the Opponent
No. 14 Virginia (8-1)
The Cavaliers have defeated two ranked opponents early in the season. The victories over No. 18 Illinois and No. 10 Syracuse ended in scores of 4-3. Virginia is currently on a five-match win streak.

Individually, Meghan Kelley checks in at No. 43 for the Cavaliers. Kelley is also ranked 13th  in doubles with Sofia Munera.

The Eagles have played eight of its first 10 matches at home, and are undefeated when hosting opponents in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Boston College is ranked 36th in the nation. Yufei Long is the lone singles player ranked for the Eagles (No. 101).
