NC State will host a tri-meet Friday, Compete at Kent State Sunday
RALEIGH -- The  27th-ranked NC State gymnastics team welcomes William & Mary and Western Michigan on Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. In its double-meet weekend, the Pack will then travel to Kent, Ohio in a tri-meet hosted by Kent State with George Washington on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.

Pack on the Rise
The team has posted its two highest scores of the season in its last two meets. The Pack recorded a season-best 196.400 against Pittsburgh on Feb. 9 and recorded a 195.850 against UNC-CH on Feb. 16.
9.9 Club
Drew Grantham and Lauren Kent have posted scores of 9.9+ in two consecutive meets.
Grantham has now earned eight scores of 9.9 or above, including three this season. She has captured the floor title in back-to-back meets with scores of 9.900 and 9.925 respectively. Six of Grantham's eight score achievements have been earned on floor.
 Kent has won the bars title in the past two meets, posting 9.900s. Maggie Tamburro has also recorded a 9.900 on bars this season.
There's No Place Like Home
Two of NC State's top-three team scores have come at home. NC State's season-best was inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum (196.400), as was the team's 195.850 against UNC-CH.
Pack in the EAGL
The Pack continues to stand alone at the top of the conference standings with a 195.157 average.
10 of the Pack have earned a spot in the top five in individual events, the most of any EAGL team. With four gymnasts in the top five, UNC-CH and George Washington hold the second-most spots.
Alexa Phillips enters the vault top five, ranking fifth with a 9.793 average. On beam, Nicole Webb is the lone Pack gymnast, averaging a score of 9.779. Lauren Kent (9.800 - first), Maggie Tamburro (9.789 - second), Meredith Robinson (9.775 - fourth), and Caitlyn Fillard (9.768 - fifth) hold four of the five top spots in bars average. With season averages of 9.836 and 9.818 on floor, Drew Grantham and Alexa Phillips sit at third and fifth.
The only school with two cracking the top five in all-around average, Caitlyn Fillard checks in at No. 2 with a 38.907 average and Drew Grantham checks in at No. 4 with a 38.668 average.
Last Time Out
NC State defeated 34th-ranked UNC-CH, 195.850-193.700, on Saturday, Feb. 16 inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack collected 11 podium finishes and claimed four titles (all-around, vault, bars, floor) on its way to its second-highest score of the season. The meet marked the fourth-straight regular-season victory over the Tar Heels in the Kim Landrus era.

Grantham's stellar floor performance earned a career-best 9.925 and the event title. That score marks her eighth career 9.9 and sixth on floor.
