RALEIGH – The No. 9/12 NC State women's basketball team (22-3, 9-3 ACC) hosts Wake Forest on Thursday evening in its penultimate home game of the 2018-19 regular season. Tip-off from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum is scheduled for 7 pm with live television coverage provided by Raycom (Fox Sports South in Raleigh).Â

THURSDAY PROMOTIONS
-Celebrating Black Culture Night. NC State will honor Wolfpack great Trudi Lacey in between the first and second quarters. Lacey was the first African-American woman to earn an athletic scholarship at NC State and will be welcomed into the NC State Athletics Hall of Fame later this spring. The Wolfpack will also debut a new adidas uniform during the game.
-Giveaway: wolf ears to the first 200 fans.
-Halftime: mascot scrimmage.

For the third time in four seasons, NC State's annual Play4Kay game on Feb. 18 was a sellout. An annual event to raise awareness and money in the fight against women's cancers, NC State's game this year resulted in total donaÂtions to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund of more than $200,000. Through the support of fans and the university community, the NC State athletic department presented a check for $25,903 during the game and local business Bojangles' raised and donated more than $175,000 as well.

Since the Wolfpack's 2016-17 return to Reynolds Coliseum following the completion of the $35 million renovation, the team is 43-6 on its home court.
