
Pack Hosts Syracuse Wednesday Evening

RALEIGH, NC – The NC State men's basketball team (17-7, 5-6 ACC) returns to PNC Arena Wednesday evening when it hosts Syracuse (17-7, 8-3 ACC) at 8 pm.
The game will be televised in the Raleigh area on WRAL (NBC). Other stations in North Carolina carrying the game include WMYT (My Network TV) in Charlotte, WFYV (My TV) in Greensboro- Winston-Salem – High Point, WITN-D2 (This TV) in Greenville – New Bern – Washington and WILM (IND) in Wilmington. Pack Tracks
- NC State defeated Pitt, 79-76, on Saturday afternoon. The Pack hit a season-best 14 three-pointers in the win while shooting a season-best 51.9% from three-point range. CJ Bryce led five NC State players in double figures with 21 points on 5-of-6 shooting from long range.
- NC State ranks second in the ACC and 10th in the NCAA in offensive rebounding, averaging 13.88 per game. In ACC play, the Pack is averaging 15.09 offensive rebounds per game. NC State does not have a player rank in the top-10 in ACC in offensive rebounding as the Pack has six different players averaging over 1 offensive rebound per game. Wyatt Walker (50), DJ Funderburk (49) and Torin Dorn (47) lead the Pack in offensive rebounding.

- The last time the two programs met in PNC Arena, Syracuse overcame a 16-point second half deficit to defeat the Pack in overtime, 100-93, on Feb. 1, 2017. Syracuse's John Gillon set three PNC Arena records in the win for Syracuse: Points (43), Three-Point Field Goals (9) and Free Throw Percentage (100% on 14-14 FT shooting). NC State's Maverick Rowan hit eight three-pointers in the game which is tied for second-most in PNC Arena history.
