MAJOR HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Since the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum was completed in August 2016, NC State is 53-6 on Kay Yow Court, a record that includes 35 consecutive victories over non-conference opponents.
CAN'T STOP CUNANE
Elissa Cunane has proven to be a force to be reckoned with to start her sophomore season. The center ranks seventh nationally in double-doubles (6), 13th in field goal percentage (.640) and 17th in rebounds per game (11.0).
Cunane is currently riding a streak of four-straight double-double performances and has a total of six double-doubles on the season. She has tallied 20 or more points in three of the last four games, including a career-high 28 points in the Pack's win over Elon on Dec. 15. Her 16.2 points per game, 64 percent field goal percentage and 11 rebounds per game all lead the team.
On Dec. 16, she was named ACC Player of the Week after her 28 points and 16 rebounds against the Phoenix. It made her the first Wolfpack player to earn the honors since Miah Spencer did so in January of the 2016-17 season.
CHATTANOOGA CONNECTION
Prior to coming to Raleigh in 2013, head coach Wes Moore spend 15 seasons (1998-2013) as the head coach for the Lady Mocs. He led Chattanooga to 12 Southern Conference regular season titles, nine SoCon tournament championships and nine NCAA Tournament berths while becoming the winningest coach in Chattanooga and SoCon history. Moore came to NC State as the reigning SoCon Coach of the Year, an award he had earned on six separate occasions.
WHO DO YOU GUARD?
NC State's entire starting lineup is averaging 8.3+ points per game this season. Additionally, four of the Pack's starters are shooting 40 percent or higher from the field to start the 2019-20 campaign.
CLIMBING THE CAREER THREES LIST
Senior guard Aislinn Konig needs just one more triple to take sole possession of third place in program history for career three-pointers made. With 234 from behind the arc in 98 games played, Konig currently sits in a tie for third. Jennifer Howard holds the top mark of 315.
