Pack to Host Wolfpack Intercollegiate at Lonnie Poole this Weekend

RALEIGH, NC – The NC State men's golf team returns to action this weekend when it hosts the annual Wolfpack Intercollegiate held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The 15-team, 87-golfer field opens the tournament on Saturday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The final round on Sunday begins at 8 a.m.
The Pack has won the event the last two seasons.
Senior Benjamin Shipp is the defending champion of the event. The Duluth, Ga., native shot a 13-under-par 203 to win last season. The score of 13-under par is the third-lowest 54-hole score related to par in program history. Shipp's 64 in the third round was two shots off of the lowest-18 hole score in program history.
All nine members of the men's golf team will be in action this weekend with freshman Carter Graf making his debut in the NC State lineup.
