RALEIGH --Â The NC State gymnastics team (5-1, 2-0) will take on fifth-ranked LSU (2-2, 1-2) on Friday at 7:10p.m. ET in Baton Rouge, La., at the Maravich Center.
Last Time Out
The NC State gymnastics team defeated UNC-Chapel Hill, 195.200-194.650, posting its highest score of the season. The team posted its season-high on beam (48.975) to close out the meet.
Totaling nine podium finishes on the night, NC State took home first place in three events (all-around, beam, and floor). The Pack trailed after two rotations, but took the lead after a strong performance on floor led by Drew Grantham's 9.875.

At UNC-Chapel Hill, three Pack gymnasts recorded career-bests: Meredith Robinson (bars, 9.800), Melissa Brooker (bars, 9.775), and Nicole Webb (beam, 9.875). Webb's 9.875 on beam and Grantham's 9.875 on floor are season-highs for the team.
