Charleston outran his own 60m school dash record Jan. 25
GREENSBORO, N.C. --Â Cravont Charleston has been named ACC Men's Track Co-Performer of the week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday. Breaking his previous school record, Charleston ran a 6.56 to claim gold-medal honors in the 60m dash on Jan. 25 at the Texas Tech Classic.Â

The Charlotte, N.C., native's time sits as tied for second-fastest in the country. Charleston previously set the school record at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite in early January, running a time of 6.59.
The NC State men's and women's track and field teams will compete at the Virginia Tech Elite in Blacksburg, Va., and the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Feb. 1-2.
