Pack Finishes Road Stretch at #23 Louisville

RALEIGH, NC – The 21^st-ranked NC State men's basketball team (15-3, 3-2 ACC) is back in action Thursday evening when it takes on 23^rd-ranked Louisville (13-5, 4-1 ACC) at 8 p.m. in the KFC Yum! Center.

The game will be televised in the Raleigh area on WRAL (NBC). Other stations in North Carolina carrying the game include WMYT (My Network TV) in Charlotte, WFYV (My TV) in Greensboro- Winston-Salem – High Point, WITN-D2 (This TV) in Greenville – New Bern – Washington and WILM (IND) in Wilmington. Pack Tracks
- NC State defeated Notre Dame, 77-73, on Saturday afternoon to improve to 4-2 this season in games away from Raleigh. The Pack was led by junior guard CJ Bryce who scored a season-best 23 points on 5-of-5 shooting from three-point range in the win.
- The Pack has six players averaging in double figures in ACC play, led by junior guard CJ Bryce at 14.4 points per game.
- Six different players have led NC State in scoring this season. Braxton Beverly (2x), CJ Bryce (1x) Devon Daniels (3x), Torin Dorn (7x), Markell Johnson (4x) and Eric Lockett (1x) have led the Pack in scoring. NC State relies on a balanced scoring attack. All 10 players on the roster have scored in double figures in at least one game this season and six of the players are shooting 50 percent or better from the field.
- The Pack's bench is averaging 35.3 points per game this season and has had 27 individual double-digit scoring performances. The Pack has scored 40+ points off the bench in eight games this season, including a school-record 62-point performance in the win over USC Upstate on Dec. 22.
- Senior guard Torin Dorn became the 52nd player in NC State history to score over 1,000 career points. The Charlotte native hit a jumper in the first half against Wake Forest for his 1,000th point. Dorn has 1,021 points in an NC State uniform and 1,405 career points in college (scored 384 points as a freshman at UNC-Charlotte.

- Last season, the Pack defeated Louisville, 76-69, in PNC Arena in the lone meeting between the two programs.

Thursday Storylines
- Thursday marks the fourth road game in six ACC contests for the Pack. NC State is 2-1 on the road in ACC play this season and has won six of its last nine ACC road games. Under head coach Kevin Keatts, NC State is 6-6 in ACC road games.
- Thursday is the 12th time in less than two seasons NC State will play a ranked opponent. The Pack is 6-5 against ranked opponents with Kevin Keatts as head coach, including a 2-2 mark against ranked teams when playing away from PNC Arena.
- Both NC State and Louisville boast two of the most prolific benches in the country. The Pack's bench averages 35.3 points per game, while the Cardinals' bench averages 29.3 points per game. NC State's bench set a school-record this season with 62 points in the win over USC Upstate on 12/22, while Louisville's bench set a school-record this season with 63 points in the win over Southern on 11/13.
- NC State ranks second in ACC play in free throw percentage, shooting 73.8% (62-of-84) from the foul line, but through five games its opponents have hit more free throws (103) than the Pack has attempted. Only Clemson and Virginia have attempted less free throws in conference play than the Pack.
- When the Pack shoots 30% or better from 3-point range this season it is 14-1. It is 1-2 when it shoots below 30%. NC State shot below 30% from long range in both of its ACC losses this season. In five games of ACC play, Louisville is holding its opponents to 29.7% shooting from three-point range.
