Pack Wraps Up Action at #TulsaITA Pre-Qualifiers

TULSA, Okla. – NC State finished up competition in the singles pre-qualifying draw at the 2018 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships Sunday. The Wolfpack will now turn its attention to the qualifying draw, as it has three individuals and a doubles pair set to compete for spots in the All-American main draw.
Michael Ogden and Robert Turzak were both in action in the third round of the pre-qualifying singles bracket Sunday afternoon after going unbeaten on the first day of competition at the tournament. Ogden squared off against Duke's Spencer Furman, who took the match by a 6-2, 6-3 score. Turzak matched up with Indiana's Carson Haskins, and Haskins earned the 7-6, 6-2 victory.

NC State will continue competition at the ITA All-American Championships with players in action in the qualifying singles and doubles draws Monday and Tuesday before main draw action begins Oct. 4.
Igor Saveljic, Tadas Babelis and Ivan Saveljic earned spots in the singles qualifying draw and will begin play Monday. Players must win three rounds in the qualifiers to advance to action in the main singles draw.
Qualifying doubles also begins Monday, as Tadas Babelis and Ogden will be one of 32 pairs in the bracket looking to advance to the main draw. They will aim to join Igor Saveljic and Ivan Saveljic, who are ranked 15th nationally as a pair and earned an automatic spot in the doubles main draw.
