Women’s Soccer Welcomes East Carolina Thursday Evening

RALEIGH – The No. 16 NC State women's soccer team will host East Carolina Thursday evening at Dail Soccer Stadium, marking its second of a three-match home stretch. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and the contest will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
The Wolfpack enters the matchup with a 2-0-0 record while the Pirates own a 1-0-1 ledger.
Promotions
Fans who received ticket vouchers for the ECU match can redeem their promo code online prior to the match for $3 admission. Schedule posters and key tags will be available at the marketing table.
Series History
Thursday will mark the eighth time the teams have met in program history, as the record is knotted at 3-3-1. NC State has won the last two meetings. On Sept. 7, 2017, the Pirates traveled to Raleigh and the Pack won 2-1, and on Sept. 8, 2016, the teams met in Greenville where NC State shut out the Pirates 2-0.

NC State opened its home slate on Monday evening when it welcomed Monmouth to Dail Soccer Stadium, and Krissi Schuster's golden goal in the 103rd minute gave the squad its second victory of the season.

In the first regular-season polls of the year, NC State checks in at No. 15 on Soccer America and 16th on United Soccer Coaches and TopDrawerSoccer.
The Pack moved up four spots on United Soccer Coaches, three on Soccer America and remained the same on TopDrawerSoccer's preseason rankings.
